WAFA INDUSTRIES B.V. is a Dutch company specialized in the research and development of biological and organic anti-bacterial solutions, for food and non-food purposes. Its product division is unique in its approach and methods for the creation of marketable anti-bacterial products. Our R&D and production operates in respect of strict health regulations and guidelines, such as defined by European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HAACP), World Health Organisation (WHO) and cultural directives for the preparation of food. Our microbiological analysts and product engineers have developed organic solutions which substantially reduce pathogenic bacteria, e.g. Salmonella and Campylobacter, to such levels that those type of bacteria are no longer threatening to human life.
Food safety largely begins with preventing pathogenic bacteria from entering the food creation process. For that the industry as a whole follows guidelines and does their utmost best every day to keep customers safe. A food poison pandemonium could be devastating for everyone involved, not at least the manufacturer. Hence, the costs and effort going into compliancy are absolutely noteworthy.
